My Story
Most of my life has been centered around understanding and teaching the Bible.
I started reading it daily in elementary school and have never stopped. I’ve been reading it, studying it, teaching it, and preaching it for over forty years.
I’ve taught junior high students in a bus turned Sunday School class, military personnel in marriage seminars, as well as preaching and teaching the churches I’ve pastored.
Along the way, I’ve gotten a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree, and will soon be adding another Master’s and a PhD. (I’m also something of a Charles Spurgeon scholar.)

I’ve been married to Kim, an elementary teacher, since 1989.
We have three kids, six grandchildren, and a life together that truly reflects Psalm 16:6: “The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance.”
Recently, I retired from pastoring a church we planted in 2005. Now I’m full-time learning, teaching, and looking for ways to help the Church.
