I will uproot from among you your Asherah poles when I demolish your cities. (Micah 5:14 NIV, 6-24-13)

How badly does God want this sin out of His people’s lives? He’ll demolish the cities in order to uproot the idols. If you view the sin like weeds in a garden, He’s willing to destroy the whole garden to eliminate the weeds.

How often am I willing to put up with the weeds of sin in my life because I don’t want to mess up my life’s garden?
