He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.” Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” (John 3:2, 3 NIV, 9-6-11)
Another case of “You ain’t seen nothin’ yet.”
You see the miracles but you don’t see the big picture. You don’t see the Why. You don’t see the Kingdom.
How often do I do that? I see the individual things God is doing in my life, in our church, in other churches, in missions. But I don’t see them tied together. I don’t see them as the Kingdom of God on the march.
Or I don’t see them as God projects, instead seeing them as human projects struggling for human resources.
I’m born again, but sometimes I still don’t see with born-again eyes.
[Father, help me to see your Kingdom with Your eyes.]
