One of the Bible’s greatest acts of faith.

How did he do it? How did he walk away without begging Jesus to go with him. I’d have at least asked for a sign or maybe for a disciple to accompany me or something.

But this man, who hadn’t heard of the resurrection or seen God’s Spirit work in lives, took Jesus at His word and went home.

[Father, I am so prone to doubt and discouragement. Forgive me and teach me to move on Your word alone. Give me this kind of faith.]
