Luke 17:14 (1/17/11)

When [Jesus] saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed.

As they went.

There was no miracle prior to the obedience. And the obedience was an act of faith.

What would they have done if they’d gotten to the priest and still been leprous? Probably ten different responses.

But despite that, they all went and “as they went” they were healed.

Is there anything in my life that God has promised and I need to just keep going, not waiting to go until He answers?

[Father, help me to obey while I wait for You to act, but to obey in the faith that You are going to act. And if there is an area where You want me to wait to move, make that clear to me as well.]
