Ezekiel 36:3 (Written 11-27-10)

He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”

And I answered, “O Lord GOD, you know.”

In case you were unaware, the correct answer is No. No, dry bones cannot live again.

In saying “O Lord God, you know,” Ezekiel was showing extreme faith. Faith that can move mountains, part seas, bring dry bones back to life.

What do I say when I see dry bones, dead lives, impossibly broken marriages, impossible *anythings*? Most of the time, if God asked me, I’d say No.

I may need to come up with a better answer.
