Proverbs 8:13 (Written 11/7/2010)

The fear of the LORD is hatred of evil. Pride and arrogance and the way of evil and perverted speech I hate.

Ezekiel 18:30

Repent and turn from all your transgressions, lest iniquity be your ruin.

Hatred of evil.

I think that’s one of my problems: I don’t hate evil.

I dislike it and sometimes it annoys me, but hate? Not really.

So I don’t fight or condemn evil. I just teach against it.

And my people don’t often repent of sin. They turn toward the Light without necessarily rejecting the darkness.

[Father, help me to see evil the way you do. And help me to repent and teach Your people to do the same.]
